A mother named Alley Durrett took to Facebook to share that her little daughter, Ady, has been bullied by the Temple Recreation Department’s cheer coach, Tiffany.

She started her post with a bold take, writing that she didn’t mean to make it public, but since the rec center hasn’t done a thing after she reported it, she had no choice.

Alley wrote:

I didn’t want to take this public but because the Temple Rec center isn’t doing ANYTHING about it. Here it goes. I’m doing this to see if anyone else has had issues like this with their child at the Temple Recreation Dept as well as to bring awareness, because my child has been harassed and bullied for well over a month.

Her daughter, Ady, had been excited about cheer until about a month ago. That’s when the head coach, a woman named Tiffany who’s around fifty, started bullying her.

According to Alley, it started small—like leaving Ady out of things and being rude to her—and soon escalated.

If not, the coach told the other girls on the team they weren’t allowed to be friends with Ady anymore.

In fact, kids on her team, except a few, are telling Ady they can’t talk to her or will be removed from the squad.

Then the coach actually went to Ady’s school, found kids sitting with Ady at lunch, pulled them away, and told them Ady was a bad influence and they shouldn’t interact with her.

She defended her daughter, noting she’s the complete opposite of a bad influence—award-winning student, Tiger of the Month two months running, zero disciplinary issues.

Because of this bullying, Ady now comes home crying daily, begging not to return to school as peers ignore or tell her, “Coach Tiffany said we can’t talk to you,” as stated by Alley.

Alley says her daughter no longer enjoys school or cheer due to this adult’s actions. The once-loving student now despises both.

Other parents report similar coaches over years with no consequences.

Alley shared a screenshot of another parent’s comment about their child quitting due to the coach’s conduct.

When Alley tried contacting the coach, she was blocked, then removed from the team chat. The coach falsely claimed Ady was kicked off despite no wrongdoing.

Alley told the rec that her daughter wouldn’t attend the final game amid the turmoil, prompting the rec to snarkily say, “Fine, then she’s off the team and won’t get a trophy”.

At the final game, the coach asked girls if they thought she was good because “Ady’s mom is tearing me up on Facebook”.

Alley possesses evidence—messages, screenshots, witness accounts, and kids supporting Ady—proving the coach’s claims. She consulted a lawyer and filed for a restraining order due to ongoing intrusions at school events.

Alley seeks awareness and asks if others in Temple faced similar rec center issues.
