Isadora “Izzy” Catania, a promising freshman from Hamilton, NY, tragically passed away in May 2026, devastating her loved ones and teammates.

A cherished member of Hamilton’s athletic community, she excelled as a pitcher wearing jersey #18 and aimed to graduate in 2028.

Growing up immersed in softball, Izzy followed in her sisters’ footsteps—Adriana and Sicily—who also thrived in the Hamilton program. Together, they formed an unstoppable trio, blending talent and teamwork on and off the field.

Adriana, a senior catcher, anchored the defense with sharp instincts and leadership. Meanwhile, Sicily’s dual-threat skill set as both outfielder and catcher added depth to their collective success.

The sisters’ bond transcended sports, offering mutual encouragement through every challenge and triumph.
