Prayers For Ex-Pequea Valley HS Baseball Player Trevor Vollmer, 18, In ICU After Being Hit By Bus, Parents Joe And Christine By His Side

Families confirm that neither Trevor nor his friends were under the influence of alcohol or any substances at the time of the incident.

Trevor Vollmer, a local high school student, was seriously injured after being struck by a bus in Ocean City, Maryland, while he was out walking with friends on June 7.

He is a talented and hardworking athlete from Pequea Valley High School, where he plays both varsity football and baseball.

According to witnesses, Trevor was bouncing a ball as he walked. The ball suddenly rolled into the bus lane, and when he went to retrieve it, he was hit by an oncoming bus.

Emergency help arrived quickly, thanks to the fast actions of his friends and bystanders who stayed with him until paramedics took over.

Trevor, 18, was initially taken to a nearby hospital and later transferred to a trauma center for more advanced treatment.

He remains in critical condition in the ICU, surrounded by family and close friends who have not left his side.

Support Grows For Trevor Vollmer After Accident

Trevor’s parents, Joe Vollmer and Christine Huntzberry, are by his side, staying close as he continues to recover.

In the wake of the accident, the family is facing rising expenses, including travel, temporary lodging, meals, and lost income.
