The Dearborn, Michigan, community is grieving the sudden passing of beloved local athlete Aubrie Morgan.
Aubrie Morgan, 18, tragically passed away on January 14, 2026, likely due to a brain aneurysm; family has not disclosed full circumstances surrounding her death.
Born August 22, 2007, in Dearborn, Michigan, Aubrie was cherished for her athletic talent and radiant personality within the sports community.
Aubrie was a standout student-athlete at Dearborn High School, excelling in both softball and field hockey.
As a Class of 2026 graduate, she aimed to pursue cosmetology after completing high school, inspiring those around her with her drive.
Her teammates and coaches remember her for her unwavering positivity and commitment to excellence on and off the field.
DHS Pioneers Softball team shared a heartfelt tribute:
“She was one of the kindest people you could ever meet and always found a way to have a smile on her face. We cannot put in words what she meant to the 2026 Softball Teams and the future of the program because without her, we would have had to eliminate the JV team. We will never forget the passion she had for life. We ask that everyone take a moment to remember her, her family and her friends in this most difficult of times.”
“Aubrie brought light wherever she went—whether on the field, in the classroom, or among friends. Her absence leaves a void no one can fill. Please join us in honoring her memory.”
“Our hearts are with the Morgan family during this unimaginable loss. Aubrie’s spirit will forever be part of our community.”

Aubrie Morgan Is Survived By Her Parents, Siblings, and Extended Family
Beyond her athletic achievements, Aubrie was deeply loved by her parents Chad Morgan and Megan Waldron.
Both parents expressed their heartbreak publicly, sharing cherished memories online.
Chad Morgan posted a moving message alongside photos of his daughter.
“My heart is shattered. My precious girl, I love you more than words can say. I’m lost but grateful for every moment we shared.”
“Aubrie’s laughter still echoes in our hearts. Here are some of my favorite memories with her. She will always be with us.”
Aubrie’s family, including her stepmother Michelle Olivia and siblings Harlow, Noah, and Waheed, remembers her as a beacon of joy.
She is survived by grandparents Edward Morgan and Patrick Waldron, uncles Patrick, Hunter, Fischer Waldron, Nick Schroka, aunt Rachel (Nick) Vasquez, loving partner Rami, and countless others.
Preceded by grandmother Sandra and Renee, Aubrie’s life left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held January 18, 2026, at Dearborn Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, followed by a service at Beacon Baptist Church.
